Paramedics called to COOSH Local man cops a

$550 fine for refusing to leave

A 24 year old local man copped a $550 infringement notice for failing to quit a local licensed premises on Sunday night.

Cobar police attended the licensed premises about 9.45pm on Sunday after receiving information that a man was verbally abusing staff and refusing to leave the premises.

Police spoke with the male and asked him to leave.

The 24 year old left, however returned a short time later.

Police again attended and issued the male with a $550 infringement notice for the offence of ‘Excluded person re-enter vicinity of Licensed Premises’.
