DID YOU KNOW THAT YOUR SET-UP CHANGES BASED ON THE CLUB YOU’RE HITTING? Setting up the same way with every club could be hurting your chances of making solid contact.

Driver When hitting with a driver, you should have a wider, more powerful stance. Keep your right shoulder down. Lay a club or alignment stick across your chest, and point the left side to the sky.

First, join us in congratulating the winners of the Icicle Open in January, Kelly Hair (1st Flight), and the 2nd Flight was a tie between Austin Darby and Tony Wisniewski! We’ve lowered the price of our monthly member tournament to $30, and 100% of the entry fee goes towards the payout! We will have food/drink specials that match the tournament theme. March’s event is a crowd favorite. St. Paddy’s Revenge - March 16th 1:00PM. 3-person green ball. 2 players will play a scramble on the hole, and the 3rd player will play their own ball (the green ball). The green ball will rotate between all 3 players on every hole. Example: If you have the green ball on hole #1, you will have it again on #4 and so on. Our member event for April is literally once in a lifetime. We will be open on Monday, April 8th, for the Total Solar Eclipse! Schedule of 4/8 Golf Events: 8:30AM- 18-hole 4-person scramble- We will have games on the course and opportunities to win prizes/improve your score. 1:42PM-1:47PM- Total Eclipse will be happening, so everyone will be at the clubhouse/on hole 1/18 watching. 3:00PM- Horserace/shootout- Everyone’s favorite! We will group you with people of similar handicap/skill level and play until we have a winner!

Irons For irons, keep your stance shoulder-width apart, keep your shoulders level, and your hands pressed slightly forward.

Wedges For wedges, keep a narrow stance and your hand placement is based on how high you want the shot to go. Stay tuned for next month’s tip for more details on this!
