Focus on Fitness: New Coaching Program

Emilie Kunco, Fitness Specialist

Did you know that within 1 month, 25% of people drop their New Years Resolutions? By 6 months, over 50% drop. If your goal doesn’t feel obtainable, try setting 3-5 micro-goals that will help you slowly reach the big goal. Small steps can be reached easier than setting yourself up for something and feeling defeated by not reaching your target. Things don’t happen overnight; consistency is key. Staying focused and knowing what your end goal is will make the big picture happen.

I’m excited to roll out nutrition coaching along with my current personal training program. Both start with an initial consultation. For nutrition, we’ll sit down and go over the basics of your history and what your goal is, we’ll do some math to configure your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) which is the amount of calories you need to consume just to do your everyday things like breathing; then we’ll factor in lifestyle and exercise We’ll get you started logging your food and drink consumption and we’ll touch base weekly, making small changes where needed in your diet and lifestyle For personal training we’ll do the same initial discussion, but instead of math we just get to work!

I love saying, “To be comfortable, you have to get uncomfortable,” and that’s just what we’re doing together You don’t know what you can do until you try, and with the right resources and accountability we can get you to your goals faster and with more long-term success!

80% of success is showing up.
