Hi members and sailors Hope you are all well and safe in these trying times. Unfortunately, our sailing season had to be cancelled early. Still, the majority of races for the whole year had been completed, and as the restrictions are lifted, we will be looking forward to celebrating the season results at a sailing presentation evening at Main Beach Club and junior presentations at Hollywell. Keep your eyes open for these announcements in the future.
We are all excitedly looking forward to starting the new season of competitive sailing, if all goes to plan and the government still allows it, on July 11th. It will be great to see all our sailing friends out on the water again. The sailing office and the sailing committee have been working tirelessly towards this resumption.
to ensure that we are in a strong financial position when we reopen. All our venues and the marina and hardstand area have been given a spruce up, painting, deep cleaning and general maintenance so that when we can all return to our Club, it will be a pleasure. Can’t wait to see everyone out on the water.
