The football has returned and that means that sport is returning to our lives.

From July 11th we are able to get back on the water in an officially organised sporting event. We’re not wasting any time on Thursdays so we’ll be back on the water Thursday July 16th.

Our Document Solutions Winter Twilight series will be a slightly abbreviated series this year (due to covid-19).

Exact dates of this series, plus the adjusted dates of the Document Solutions Summer series will be released shortly. I’d like to thank Col Wheeler, owner of Document Solutions and a fabulous club member for sticking with us in his sponsorship of Thursday Twilights. I know you understand the suspension of the season was beyond our control. Thank you.

Our Summer series had to be abandoned mid season so I’d like to congratulate Zac on Hula for winning his first series. Impulse X and Xvitesse make up the placegetters. We managed 10 out of 14 races and Hula had a substantial lead so I would imagine they would have gone on to win the series anyway.

As for me, well my boat was a long way done the ladder........but we did have a great time!!! Thats what Thursdays are all about.

Every dog has his day. One day........
