Editors Letter... Hi everyone and welcome the birthday May Edition.... been little/no improvement since last month and the CT scan results showed that my Anne bones are not healing: 1 is 80% healed, 1 is 60% and the 3rd is only 50% - that was at 30 weeks post break. Normally bones are healed by 12 weeks. Trust me to be different! Hey ho, onwards and upwards. Today the sun is shining so its a good day. Have a wonderful May, enjoy the relaxing of the rules while staying safe and I look forward to There’s been many changes along the way, including chatting again next time! merging 2 magazines together, a name change (do Look at the May 2005 copies! you remember when part of it was called On Your Anne xx Doorstep?) but at its core, the principles haven’t changed - my aim has always been to support local businesses by encouraging people to shop, trade and support local. Whether that be through using local tradespeople, shopping in local shops, supporting local charities or attending local events, all of this is key to keeping our community thriving. It’s the magazines birthday! A whopping 16 years ago the very first magazine was published. A smaller A5 size, just of plain paper with a colour front cover, 1,000 copies were delivered with just 16 pages of content. Its aim was to bring local businesses to the attention of local people and 16 years later I’m proud to say that we are still doing just that - only now we have a bigger, and in my opinion, superior size of B5, we are full colour, glossy and we deliver to a staggering 16,750 homes locally in CV21, 22 and 23 with 52 pages of content.
We have a wonderful town with lots to offer and everyone needs support now more than ever and even if you don’t need to use their services, perhaps you could write them a review on Fb / google or a word of mouth recommendation goes along way too.
