We introduce ourselves as Team Phoenix Racing, SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) SVNIT. It is an organization dedicated to automobile projects consisting of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering enthusiasts. Since our inception, we have bagged various titles and topped All India Ranks for the numerous vehicles that were designed, manufactured, and validated by the students themselves. Our legacy of winning National and International Level Prizes goes back to 2005. Our past accolades including GARUNA ARAI SAE (2005), PUSHPAK BAJA PORTLAND (2006), ASHWAMEDH (2007), YUYUTSU BAJA (2009), ANSHUMAT BAJA (2009), EKLAVYA MINI BAJA (2010), PHOENIX SUPRA (2011, 12, 14, 15, 16), NATIONAL GO-KART COMPETITION (2013), GO KART DESIGN CHAMPIONSHIP (2019, 2020, 2021), and FORMULA BHARAT (2020, 2021) add feathers in the cap of our glory. In 2020-21, TEAM PHOENIX RACING SAE SVNIT participated in 2 national-level events and has proven itself again. Even in the rough times of the COVID-19 outbreak, the team initially faced a lot of difficulties in switching to virtual mode but this did not break our spirit. »» FORMULA BHARAT 2021 (VIRTUAL) Formula Bharat is an engineering design competition in which students from various colleges and universities all over the country compete with a life-size Formulastyle vehicle in areas of engineering design, overall cost, marketability, and dynamic performance. The series replicates the global student Formula series hosted in approximately 11 countries per year. We showed a great improvement compared to last year where we stood at overall 39th position. This year our score was: • 92.6/150 in Design • 10th in Design event • 55.28/75 in Business • Completed the whole event successfully with 0 Penalty • Final score: 147.88/225 • Overall rank: 13th »»
E-GO KART DESIGN CHALLENGE, EV OVERALL CHAMPIONS 2019, 2020, 2021 (VIRTUAL) With a clear vision in our mind and a specific target, we have toiled towards the establishment of our name in the field of electric go-kart. Revamped designing skills, augmented practical knowledge, and hands-on learning experience are a result of our participation in these events. Electric go-kart has stupendous achievements, having a broad motive of shifting focus to electrification and future development of mobility. The go-kart cleared several rounds successfully for being consistent champions for 3 years.
