Showcasing the talented folk of North Devon Dinsdale Petch - bronze and metalwork Tucked away in East Buckland, alchemy has been at work for nearly 30 years. Dinsdale Petch (right) trained as a blacksmith and an antique metal ware restorer before building his bronze foundry at home. From here he hot casts a quirky range of awardwinning bronzes, undertakes prestigious commissions & lovingly restores historic metal items back to their former glory. Dinsdale is passionate about keeping traditional skills and crafts alive. He learnt how to cast metal through reading and experimenting. Many of the tools and pieces of equipment he uses are fabricated by himself or are antiques in their own right!
He is busy working on commissions at the moment, many of which end up on far away shores. Here in North Devon you can buy his lovingly crafted range of solid bronze nuts (below) as gifts or treasures for the home.
