Automatically collect invoices Setup invoices to automatically collect from PharmX Save time and improve your ordering efficiency by enabling this feature. Advantages of auto-collection of PharmX invoices include: • Gain visibility of incoming stock (as it is invoiced to your store) • You no longer need to manually manage ‘Blank Supplier Orders’ • All available invoices are collected before you generate your order • Stores with multiple accounts for a single supplier no longer need to manually change the account number to collect invoices under a separate account

Collect out-of-stock information via PharmX real-time* Use indicative out-of-stock information to manage your inventory This is how this feature works: • Place an order via PharmX • The supplier returns information on products that are out-of-stock† in real-time* • Minfos generates an order containing this information allowing you to review products in short supply • You can now decide whether to source the product(s) from another supplier or manage the stock out situation • Use the Redirect option in Order Maintenance to easily redirect the out-of-stock order to another supplier

* Near real-time. † Out-of-stock information can only be retrieved from suppliers who provide this information and it is based on the Supplier’s stock-on-hand (SOH) at the point of ordering.

Sort orders by any column Sort orders by value to easily identify high cost items for verification You can sort any column by ascending or descending order in the Order Editing screen. Simply click the column header name in the table header to sort.

For example, to sort an order from the highest to lowest unit cost, double click the Unit or Total column header.

Manage supplier product attributes Import and export supplier product attributes for your store or to share with other stores When generating an order, Minfos refers to the supplier product attributes set up in your database. The import and export functions allow you to easily manage these attributes by: • Importing the data provided from a supplier to reflect buying deals • Sharing product attribute information across stores • Managing supplier attributes in Excel and re-importing into your store The following supplier product attributes can be imported or exported into your store or another store’s database: • Minimum order quantities • Minimum and maximum shelf hold • Order multiples

Add a note to a sale Add a reference or note up to 40 characters to a sales transaction This feature at the till is useful for adding purchase orders or other references that you wish to add to a general sale, account sale and account payment.

Your note or reference will appear on: • Dockets • Tax Invoices (as generated from the till) • Customer history reports • Monthly and interim statements

Minfos & Symbion orders SSCC (tote) integration This labour saving initiative will help you streamline the process of receiving Symbion orders How this feature works: • Place a Symbion order • Symbion will process your order and issues each tote with a tote barcode (SSCC) • Minfos automatically imports the tote barcode and the products that tote contains • In Minfos, collect your orders via PharmX • Electronically receipt order by tote by scanning* or manually entering the tote barcode

Use the tote barcode to easily locate products in an order * For scanner hardware, please contact your hardware vendor.

Stocktaking app The Minfos App is a stocktaking barcode scanner device and app This is a low-cost* stocktaking solution that saves time and minimises manual entry errors.

Now, there is no need to manage paper-based stock counts, spreadsheets or CSV file uploads. You simply scan the barcode on the scanning device, enter the current stock-on-hand (SOH) count and hit update.

This is more than a stocktaking device, with the endorsed Minfos stocktaking barcode scanner device you can: • Make real-time SOH adjustments • Conduct stocktakes on the move • View a product’s stocktake history • Queue labels in Minfos for printing • Lookup product names, primary barcodes, retail prices, last counted dates and the current SOH quantities What’s more, Minfos automatically timestamps (date/time) a product’s SOH when it is modified. The intuitive workflow between the Minfos App and Minfos means that SOH adjustments are made in real-time.

Minfos SMS Connect Save time by sending personalised SMS messages to your customers SMS Connect* is integrated with Minfos so you can send SMS messages to your customers directly from Minfos.

You can use Minfos SMS Connect to send customised SMS messages such as: • “Don’t forget to refill your script” • “This is your appointment reminder” • “Your script is ready for collection” • “Your special order has arrived in store” This feature is also supported by an audit report that will enable you to easily view messages that were sent, the customer it was sent to and when.

This includes: • Barcodes • Product descriptions • Ordering codes • Suppliers • MNPNs • PDEs Use the Minfos Product Catalogue to search and find products that you need. Then subscribe to the relevant MNPN update to automatically add the product to your store’s database. This feature will help you save time, reduce duplication and manual entry errors.

You can also access the Minfos Product Catalogue using a mobile device.

Minfos Online Reporting Create a custom dashboard to see information relevant to your business Minfos Online Reporting* enables you to easily and quickly get a snapshot or detailed report for your group or an individual store.

Auto-schedule your reports to: • Access reports from anywhere, anytime • Receive your reports directly to your email • Have reports automatically sent to others (i.e. your accountant or partner) You can choose if you want to be notified if: • A product is priced to sell below cost • A category’s gross profit (GP) is under the defined threshold • You have any negative stock-on-hand (SOH)

Recall scripts at the till Provide confidential service to your customers The new Totals Label contains a unique barcode that when scanned at the till recalls all scripts dispensed to the customer on that day. This ensures the patient’s confidentiality is maintained throughout the sales process as after verifying the items the pharmacist can pack them into a bag, attach the Totals Label and seal the package. The sales clerk is then able to scan the barcode and sell the dispensed items without needing to open the bag.

The Totals Labels also displays other valuable information including the: • Customers details • Number of items dispensed • The total value of the scripts • The Scripts on File indicator

Automatic product merges Automate low-risk merge events to reduce the number you need to manage manually Setup Minfos to automatically merge products where: • The merge is imported via the merge file from Minfos Database • The slave product is marked as Not Stocked and has a stock-on-hand (SOH) of 0 or a negative value • Neither the Master or Slave product is marked as a drug This automation saves you significant time by reducing the number of manual merges you need to perform. It also helps improve the overall integrity of your database.

This automation addresses potential duplicates and ensures that barcodes are correctly moved from the slave to the master product

Claim closing options for scripts waiting at the till Setup Minfos to prevent scripts waiting at the till from re-serialising when closing the claim You can now choose whether you would like scripts waiting at the till to re-serialise into the new claim or stay in the current claim. This is managed with a simple configuration in Minfos.

Minfos will continue to automatically re-serialise any rejected scripts waiting at the till, enabling you to follow up payment for these prescriptions.

Patient Medication Summary report Quickly generate a report that provides your patient with their medication list The Patient Medication Summary report provides a summarised list of all medications the patient has been dispensed since a defined date.

For easy reviewing, the report condenses all the times the drug was supplied to the patient and displays it as one entry.

Here is how this works: • Select the patient • Enter the ‘Drugs Dispensed Since’ date and the report will display all medications that have been supplied after this date • Include directions from the most recent supply • Sort the report by drug name or last dispensed date The generated report provides you with: • Brand name with the active ingredients • Quantity supplied at the last dispensing • Displays the first and last time this drug has been dispensed

What does ePrescribing mean for your pharmacy?

Electronic prescriptions will be seamlessly integrated into your Minfos dispense workflow We are working on integrating electronic scripts within the Minfos Dispense workflow. So whether it is a paper or electronic prescription, your script workflow will remain the same, minimising the disruption to your current process.

Here is how you will dispense an electronic prescription in Minfos: • A customer presents their mobile displaying an electronic token for their prescription • Scan the token into Minfos’ new ePrescription dialog • Minfos will print the token out on to paper • Place the paper token into a script basket along with any other paper scripts • In the dispensary, scan the paper token into Minfos Dispense • Dispense the prescription as you would your paper scripts, referring to the original prescription details displayed in Minfos In Minfos Dispense, you will be able to easily identify if a script is electronic or paper-based. You will also be able to access the original script details.

As the volume of electronic prescriptions grow, we will continue to evolve Minfos Dispense to meet the needs of your pharmacy today and tomorrow.

New Pharmacist Check screen Everything you need to verify the patient, the prescription and their medication history The new dedicated Pharmacist Check screen enables pharmacists to perform the final check process. It assists with ensuring the correct medication is supplied to the correct patient.

The screen allows Pharmacists to: • Perform the drug scan check process • View all the items dispensed to the patient on that day • View the electronic copy of a prescription for an eScript • Easily access the patient’s medication history, customer notes and My Health Record • Record clinical interventions and review drug-drug interaction alerts

Electronic receipts Go paperless with eReceipts You will have the option to send your customer’s receipts electronically via: • SMS* • Email To send eReceipts, at the end of a sale select the option to send via SMS Connect or email.

For convenience, if a customer was selected during the sale Minfos will pre-populate the contact field with their details.

You can easily update it to a different contact or send it without having to collect further information.

The customer will receive the receipt as per the selected method and be able to store it electronically for future reference.
