Fitness Center Full Golfing Class, Sports Class, and certain members within a special class are entitled to unlimited use of the Fitness Center. A Member must accompany all guests at all times. The Fitness Center is open from 4am to midnight every day. Fitness center access is available through the use of a “key card” or “key fob”. 1. You should seek the advice of your Physician before starting any exercise program. 2. Members must attend an Orientation Session with the Fitness Director, must complete a Health History Questionnaire and sign a Liability Waiver Form before using the Fitness Center. You should read and understand the instructions for proper use of each piece of equipment or device prior to using it. A Parent Waiver and Release and Indemnification Form must also be signed by a parent for a child under 18 years of age. 3. All usage of the Fitness Center, including any equipment, device, weight, participation in or attendance of organized or other activities is AT YOUR OWN RISK. As with all facilities of Porters Neck Country Club, its Staff and Owners assume NO LIABILITY for accidents or injuries associated with the use the Fitness Center. 4. All Members and Guests must sign-in prior to each use of the Fitness Center and associated facilities. House guests will be given full and unrestricted health club privileges for up to one month if the member secures a house guest privilege card from the Club’s office and pays the appropriate fee. The houseguest is a temporary resident in the member’s home for more than one week and is visiting the member from a point 50 miles or more from Wilmington. House guest privileges are limited to one month. 5. A signed Liability Waiver Form must be completed before a guest may use the facility. 6. Children under the age of 16 are not permitted access to the Fitness Center, with the exception of Club planned and scheduled children’s activities, or with adult supervision. Additionally, children ages 13- 15 are permitted access without supervision if they complete an orientation and parents sign a release form. 7. Appropriate workout attire and athletic footwear is required. To be respectful if fellow Members, dress should be tasteful and non-revealing. Members who have recently played tennis on the clay courts must change shoes prior to entering the facility. Members should refrain using the Main Front Entrance when wearing fitness attire and should use the Side Entrance of the Club designated for Fitness Center access. 8.
