the event. They also arranged for a local face painting artist and balloon twisting artist to entertain our students and their siblings. But it did not stop there! They also provided Kona Ice for all in attendance, as well as had the local firefighters with their equipment to talk with our families. It was a great success! To the delight of our families, we also were very fortunate to get the donated time and talents of
Nate Chester and his barbers from Chester Mop Shop. While his group is not part of the Love the Children’s Ministries, he is an alumnus of Youtz. Nate and his men provided free haircuts to any student who wanted one. He also plans on starting a “Books with the Barber” Club with us at Youtz. We can’t say thank you enough to our alumni. They impress us every day. It just shows that Bulldog Pride is Citywide!
Our Students and Families toured the building and got to know us all.
