NEW! Outpatient BH Clinic Employee of the Month - Holly Cassidy
We're thrilled to share the exhilarating results of the recent kickball tournament that brought together our inpatient, outpatient, and psychiatric emergency center departments The

event was filled with excitement, teamwork, and a healthy dose of friendly competition, culminating in a resounding victory our outpatient team, aptly named the "Mood Stabilizers "

Cheers and applause echoed through the air as each team displayed their skills and strategized to outperform their opponents Amidst the thrilling matches, it was our outpatient team, the Mood Stabilizers, who emerged victorious, showcasing their teamwork, coordination, and determination
However, the true victory of the kickball tournament was the sense of camaraderie it fostered among all participants It provided a unique opportunity for colleagues from different departments to come together, bond, and cheer each other on The tournament reminded us that regardless of our roles, we are all part of the same team, working towards the common goal of providing exceptional care and support to our patients
A big thank you to all the teams and participants who contributed to the success of the tournament This event served as a reminder of the incredible talent, passion, and teamwork that exists within our organization Let's carry this momentum forward and continue to support and uplift one another, both on and off the field We look forward to future opportunities to come together, celebrate our accomplishments, and strengthen the bonds that make our department and organization thrive
Holly is a PRN RN for the Outpatient BH Dept and has been with JPS on the outpatient team for nearly 7.5 years. During her time with us she has been recognized as a person who is “always willing to step up to the plate” to tackle any challenge. Holly readily goes above and beyond when she is covering either clinic or PHP, as evidence by her willingness to audit medication stock at clinics and her recent identification of a "Good Catch" for compliance Additionally, she is described as pleasant, kind and dedicated by staff, leaders and her patients alike Holly, we congratulate you and are so happy to have you on the OP BH Team!

TCHATT (Texas Child Health Access Through Telemedicine) and CPAN (Child Psychiatry Access Network) participated in the highly anticipated TEXMED conference held in Fort Worth, Texas, on May 19 - 20 This annual gathering of healthcare professionals provides a platform to exchange knowledge, network, and explore innovative solutions in the medical field
Dr Allison, delivered a presentation titled "Physician Boundaries: Learn to Say No " The session aimed to address the crucial issue of maintaining boundaries within the physician-patient relationship Dr Allison's insights and expertise resonated with the audience, sparking valuable discussions and fostering a greater understanding of this important aspect of healthcare
In addition to Dr Allison's presentation, our team hosted a booth to distribute information and engage with conference attendees The team was delighted to have the opportunity to connect with approximately 50 physicians, sharing valuable information about CPAN and TCHATT. Furthermore, we extended our reach beyond physicians, reaching out to around 100 other medical affiliates and community members present at the conference Our goal was to raise awareness about CPAN and its mission to provide access to quality mental healthcare for all individuals, regardless of their economic circumstances The positive response we received reinforced our belief in the importance of these initiatives and their potential to make a difference in healthcare accessibility and treatment technologies The enthusiasm and interest expressed by these attendees highlighted the significance of spreading the word about CPAN's services and resources to ensure that everyone has access to the care they need

We are excited about the positive impact we can make together as we continue to strive for accessible and equitable healthcare for all If you have any questions or would like to learn more about TCHATT, CPAN, or our involvement in the TEXMED conference, please do not hesitate to reach out to our team Together, we can work towards a healthier and more inclusive future
