The TSP World Fair was a tremendous success, and we want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all who participated and contributed to this vibrant celebration of culture and community Our very own Behavioral Health band, The Euthymics, delivered an outstanding performance, debuting several new songs that brought great energy and excitement to the afternoon

We also enjoyed an incredible variety of cultural dishes, each one showcasing the diverse backgrounds of our team This year’s culinary favorite was Lupe’s Arroz con Leche, which captivated everyone with its wonderful aroma and rich flavor congratulations, Lupe!

Let’s keep the spirit of the World Fair going strong!

Kayla, as many of you know, is the Manager of Access for Outpatient Behavioral Health (OPBH) and has been an invaluable part of the team for 12 years. One leader shared, “She’s shown incredible leadership during the transition to the new phone system and the Cheers module in Epic.” A team member added, “Kayla’s always handling things she’s supportive and truly here for us ” Thank you for 12 years of commitment and excellence you keep OPBH running strong, and we’re so grateful for you!

CelebratingBehavioralHealthSocial ServicesMonth

April was a special time at JPS as we celebrated Behavioral Health Social Services Month and honored the incredible individuals who make up this essential team Throughout the month, we recognized the diverse disciplines within Social Services each playing a unique and critical role in supporting our patients and ensuring the success of our department

Our Social Services professionals go above and beyond each day, meeting patients in some of their most vulnerable moments and offering expert guidance, compassion, and support. Whether working behind the scenes or directly with patients and families, their contributions are the backbone of our behavioral health mission Their dedication helps create a safe, healing environment that empowers recovery and supports mental wellness across our community

The month-long celebration was capped off with a special in-person luncheon held on Wednesday, April 16th, at 1350 JPOC, 4th Floor, Creativity Training Room (#3) It was a wonderful opportunity to bring the team together, share our appreciation, and enjoy a moment of connection and celebration Smiles, laughter, and heartfelt gratitude filled the room as we recognized the lasting impact each team member has made

We extend our deepest thanks to the entire Behavioral Health Social Services team. Your commitment, resilience, and passion are deeply valued not just in April, but all year long Thank you for all that you do to care for our patients and support one another
