JLC by the Numbers 2021-2022
“There is always strength in numbers. The more individuals or organizations that you can rally to your cause, the better.” - Mark Shields
To qualitatively sum up the Junior League of Charlotte, one needs to look further than our mission statement: The Junior League of Charlotte, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, to developing the potential of women and to improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. But to quantify our strength and force in this community — Let’s let the numbers (and our members) speak for themselves… • More than 1,500 current members of the JLC • Nearly 500 active members • Nearly 900 sustaining members • Approximately 100 women have entered our Provisional Course seeking JLC membership
