About The Mid-Prairie Jazz Band:

This is the second year we’ve welcomed David Kunz and Mid-Prairie to Corridor Jazz. Mid-Prairie won the Class 2A crown at Coe, and has qualified more than a dozen times for Jazz Champs in recent years. They’ve placed first or second at the SEIBA Jazz contest 10 times, and have received a 1 at State jazz band almost every year for the last two decades.

About James Mons:

James Mons is graduate of West High who just completed his undergrad at UNI, where he was a member of Jazz Band One. At UNI, he arranged for Jazz Band One and also participated in their tour of South Africa last year. James and his dad have a fun tradition. They play in Christmas songs in front of John’s Grocery right before the holiday every year.
