Kennedy Jazz One is in its third year under the direction of Mrs. Williamson.

About Ryan Smith:

Dr. Ryan Smith operates his own teaching studio in Cedar Rapids. You can see him performing with the Blake Shaw Quintet, Mektoub, Dana T, and Elizabeth Moen. He also was a part of two landmark projects written by the late John Rapson, “Hot Tamale Louie” and “Esteban and The Children of the Sun.” The group was awarded a number of grants by the Iowa Arts Council that helped support concert tours throughout Iowa and Wyoming. He also often can be heard in the pit orchestra at Theatre Cedar Rapids.
