About Anamosa Jazz I:
Anamosa Jazz I has had a great couple of years. In 2023, they qualified for the Iowa Jazz Championships for the first time in nearly three decades. This will be Mr. Gomez's final year at Anamosa, but he lives things in excellent shape.
About Nolan Schroeder:
Nolan Schroeder is another Corridor Jazz Project alum who now regularly returns as guest artist. In fact, this is his 7th turn, making him one of our most popular guests. He has been playing professionally since age 16, during his time at Linn-Mar High School.
He’s a member of the prestigious Iowa Jazz Composers Orchestra, and also toured for several years as a member of the legendary Blue Band. Other groups include Commons Collective, Blake Shaw, Thrio, The Candymakers, and Goose Town. He’s performed all over the midwest, toured in New York and California, as well as Italy, Thailand, and Brazil.
He is a cum laude graduate of the University of Northern Iowa.
