About Xavier Jazz Band One:

Jazz Band One is one of two jazz bands at Xavier Catholic High School, in their second year under Chad Allard. This year, Jazz Band One received a Division I rating at the State Jazz Band Festival and the band placed second at the Liberty Jazz Festival.

About Lynne Hart:

Lynne Postudensek Hart teaches music at Luther College. She is a charter member of the Iowa Women’s Jazz Orchestra, and contributes many of their arrangements. She also performs with "Roots of Rhythm", She leads the groups Thelonius Assault, and the Vanguard Jazz Collective. Lynne has played with The Temptations, The Four Tops, Natalie Cole, Roberta Flack, Ray Charles, Clark Terry, Louie Bellson, Buddy DeFranco, and in pit orchestras for numerous touring Broadway productions including Hello Dolly, Kinky Boots, Book of Mormon, and many others.
