Heading into July, we are thrilled to announce that INTRO Cleveland has once again been recognized for our commitment to sustainability and innovation, receiving another prestigious award.
INTRO Cleveland has been honored with the 2023 USGBC Ohio Leadership Award for Green Building of the Year in Building Design + Construction We proudly accepted this award on June 22nd during the USGBC East North Central (ENC) region's 2023 Leadership Award Celebration, which acknowledges outstanding green buildings in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio
This award recognizes INTRO Cleveland and Harbor Bay Ventures for its leadership in sustainable mass timber construction, stormwater management, and overcoming construction challenges related to a worldwide pandemic. This award also honors our LEED Certified building, and the demonstrated use of new technologies and strategies to push the envelope of green design.
In other exciting news, we are delighted to unveil our new rooftop community garden and invite you to test your green thumbs in our Gardening 101 class with Cleveland Roots on July 10th

My name is Shantel Thomas I am the new pharmacist in town, about a year in the game I graduated from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in May 2022 I am from the greatest state ever, Texas Born and raised in Baytown, Texas, just about 25 minutes east of Houston. Grew up with one older sibling, Maegan, and my two parents, Junior and Chris, who I cherish the absolute most. My family is from the Caribbean islands of Trinidad and Tobago, and Saint Lucia (you should go visit sometime). Also a fun fact about me is that I grew up running track and field my whole life, all the way until my senior year in college, where I ran the 400 hurdles (yeah I know, tough)
I am currently a pharmacy resident completing my PGY1 at University Hospitals where I do chronic disease management as well as retail pharmacy I moved here to INTRO in June 2022 I really enjoy the community here at INTRO I feel like I have met/networked via the monthly Happy Hours (thanks, INTRO!) with a lot of great people here which makes living here enjoyable.

The drop of a feather will have be shook When I see people, my first instinct is to bark but give me some time and I’ll come sniff you for approval. I love getting treats for doing absolutely nothing, but can say no to this face, huh? I love laying by the window to catch the sun rays on my back while I wait for mom to come home Once mom gets home and after her workout, I am super excited for our walks where we explore Ohio City and sometimes Tremont. My favorite thing to do is cuddle up with my mom on the couch while we watch TV. I am super into right now, The Ozarks, but when we are not binge watching that, I like to watch my Houston Astros play. I left the area and joined the U S Navy Did 30 years and retired as a Chief Radioman My background is Communications Engineering Past employers include Technicolor and Raytheon
I have been doing residential maintenance for many years as well Hobbies include hiking the many trails around my area and going to Lake Erie I do spend a lot of time at a few of our local gun ranges as well
