Happy Holidays to our amazing Residents! We have recently been reflecting on the year 2024 and taking stock of both our challenges and successes. As we look back over the past year, more than anything else we want to express our most heartfelt gratitude to you! Simply put, we have the best community in all of Cleveland and are so grateful to have you be an integral part of making INTRO feel like home.
We can’t pass up this opportunity to again express how thankful we are to you for your patience and understanding following the car accident in late October. The staff at Pioneer and JaJa continue to be greatly affected by the accident so we are excited to draw your attention to Page 5 of the Insider. Edda has put together a Giving Tree to collect toys for both Providence House and the children of Pioneer and JaJa staff. Let’s do our best to help bring lots of smiles to those sweet children this holiday season.
So many of you joined us over the course of November for our many events and we hope to see you for the fun things we have planned for December! December 10th will be our Cozy Creations Night – we will have gingerbread house making, cookies decorating, and mug painting. There will also be a delicious hot cocoa bar and we encourage you to come on down to the library in your coziest holiday PJs and join us for a very cozy evening! Also be sure to mark your calendars for the December 14th Flower Arrangement event.
We will also have a mixology class hosted by CUBA LIBRE Mobile Bartending on December 19th.This Jingle and Mingle Mixology event will be located in the Chef’s Kitchen and will feature three specialty cocktails specifically curated for the holidays!
Don’t forget to get your door decorated! The unit door decorating contest begins on December 1st and will end on December 27th. We have so many wonderfully creative residents, we can’t wait to see your festive creations.

Hi! I’m Dani!
I’m a recent medical graduate from the Dominican Republic currently doing a Clinical Dermatology Research Fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
I recently moved to Cleveland (from DR- big change!), and while I presently spend most of my time studying and working on research, I love to balance work with creativity and connection.
I enjoy cooking, hosting gatherings, decorating spaces, and playing the piano—especially alongside my dad. On my days off, you’ll probably find me discovering new restaurants, sightseeing, or spending quality time with friends and family.
Grateful to be here at INTRO and happy to connect with others!

This is Sarge!
A 4-year-old Cavapoo who just moved to Cleveland from Chicago.
A city dog thru-and-thru, he hasn’t quite mastered walking on a leash. Despite his lack of leash decorum, he is very friendly to humans and dogs.
Sarge has never met a squirrel he hasn’t tried to chase! He loves steak, treats, playing fetch and living at Intro!
If you see Sargie around - say hello, or better yet, toss him a ball!
