Lady Bulldogs end season with loss, but improve the program greatly
Senior Lady Bulldogs Molly Wilson, Kasie Segleski, Ally Harvey, Jenna Honore, and Cassidy Anderson. The Howe Lady Bulldogs lost to Leonard on Tuesday night in the season finale by scores of 13-25, 22-25, 25-22, 20-25. Ally Harvey had 13 kills and three blocks while Cassidy Anderson had two aces, five kills, seven assists, and 11 digs. Jenna Honore had four kills, seven assists, and 19 digs. Gracie Lankford added 10 digs and Molly Wilson added nine. Sierra Copeland added four kills and Holly Cavender added six digs. Hannah Dwyer and Kasie Segleski both added four digs. “We had a goal of making the
playoffs, but we also had a goal of continuing to improve and making the program better and we did that,” said Anderson. “We went from four wins our sophomore year to 14 this year.” Wilson said she’ll miss the experience with her best friends the most noting that all have been friends for many years and stated that Segleski became a best friend immediately when moving here a few years back. The four basketball players were anticipating the season immediately following the game.
