Texoma Patriots meet tonight to discuss public school issues Do you ever wonder how your school tax dollars are being spent? Are you getting enough “bang for the buck"? Do you question what the school kids are learning? Is the school system child centered? Are the schools preparing our young people to be productive members of society? What do all those numbers in the financial reports mean?
The Patriots ask those that are planning to attend to come early and dine before the meeting. Jim Smith opens the buffet line at 5 pm and offers a special price for those attending the meeting.
Educating our children is a large topic. The Texoma Patriots are planning a panel discussion to talk about issues dealing with our local public schools. They have invited a member of the Sherman ISD administration, a member of the Denison school board, a member of Friends of Texas Public Schools, and a representative from the Texas Public Policy Foundation to be a part of the panel. The conservative organization is inviting everyone to join them tonight, Monday, July 29 at 7 pm at Buck Snort BBQ in downtown Van Alstyne.
