Chamber events
Continued from page 1 of 2019. With the first ever "Hotter 'N Howe Summer Bash" now in the books, attention turns to the next upcoming events which there are plenty.

On Thursday, August 8, the chamber will host another Blue Bell Ice Cream Social thanks again to Cavender Home Theater and hometown owner Chris Cavender. This will be the fourth of such event over the past five years. It starts at 6:30 pm and will last until around 8 pm.
The following night, albeit not a chamber event, is the Community Pep Rally to be held at Bulldog Stadium. It's the ninth year that the pep rally has been planned although it was rained out in 2016.
On Sunday, August 11 at 2 pm, the chamber will cut a ribbon with the Howe ISD administration for the new Summit Hill Elementary School. The ISD is welcoming everyone for an open house following the ribbon-cutting.
On Friday, September 6 at 8 am, the chamber will host a breakfast at Independent Bank where everyone is welcome to attend. It's an informal come-and-go social event.
