Keep Howe Beautiful elects new officers for 2019

Keep Howe Beautiful Yard of the Month New officers for Keep Howe Beautiful: (L-R) Becky Hogenson - executive director, Starr Stanley - treasurer, Mason Bearden - vice president, Sheri Folkes - secretary, and Donna Wormsbaker - president. Staff photo. Keep Howe Beautiful held their initial board meeting of 2019 on Monday night. The group elected officers for the new year and Donna Wormsbaker was once again elected as president for another term. Becky Hogenson returns as executive director and Starr Stanley returns as treasurer. Incoming board members are Sheri Folkes as secretary and Mason Bearden - vice president. Bearden, a student at Howe High School has shown great leadership by

volunteering time for the community. The non-profit organization increased the annual membership dues from $10 to $15 for individuals and from $15 to $30 for business members. They also decided to write a recurring article to be published in the Howe Enterprise and the Van Alstyne Leader about their organization.
