Keep Howe Beautiful held their initial board meeting of 2019 on Monday night The group elected officers for the new year and Donna Wormsbaker was once again elected as president for another term Becky Hogenson returns as executive director and Starr Stanley returns as treasurer Incoming board members are Sheri Folkes as secretary and Mason Bearden - vice president Bearden, a student at Howe High School has shown great leadership by volunteering time for the community

The two seniors said that being in band is like another family

"Being able to take as many trips you can with your band family and getting to share those experiences and wins is important," said Griffin

Pierce says that her very best friends are in band and that her best friends for life are in this program

"We have an infinite amount of pride and whatever we do, we do it with pride," said Pierce
