Mayor Stanley swore in three new reserve officers to the Howe Police Department. Brian Jones returns to the department as a reserve as he was here as an officer before. John Grant was also a reserve and part-time officer for Howe and a resident of the city. He also returns as a reserve officer. Chief Hudman also introduced Jeff Jones who said he had known for 30 years and is a retired Sherman Police Officer. The council was also introduced to Officer Kilbourn who has been on the staff for about a month and reintroduced 2017 HPD Officer of the Year Brandon Ozuna who left for a couple of weeks. He told the council and the audience that upon Ozuna's return, he was instrumental in catching a burglar which could possibly lead to multiple resolved cases around the county.
