Lady Bulldogs finish third in Athens Tournament The Howe Lady Bulldogs entered the week still holding on to the 19th spot in the state rankings among Class 3A teams. On Tuesday the girls suffered a 31-21 loss to Muenster. The low scoring game saw a total of four points in the first period with a 2-2 tie. Jenna Honore led Howe with 8 points with Cassidy Anderson adding 6 and Ally Harvey with 5. Sierra Copeland rounded out the scoring with a bucket, but she led the team with 8 rebounds.

Honore lead the team with 6 points. Others were Anderson (5), Molly Wilson (5), Ally Harvey (4), Vick (2), and Marissa Agee (2).

Howe regrouped against Brownsboro and advanced in the tournament with a 48-33 win. Howe's second and third quarter domination created the separation in the game where Howe outscored Brownsboro 16-5 in the second and 14-6 in the third, respectively. Bulldogs take second in S&S Tournament

The Howe Bulldogs accept the second place trophy. Michelle Carney/Howe Enterprise. The Howe Bulldogs suffered their first loss of the season on Monday at Anna, 62-57. The Bulldogs were off to a hot start and led 11-6 after the first period thanks to good ball movement on offense and good defense.

Devin Porter led Howe with 17 points including shooting 5-of-7 from the line. Sophomore Noah Campbell followed Porter's 17 points with 16 of his own including four 3-pointers. page 8
