Teacher of the Month - Holly Jones "My name is Holly Jones. This is my first year at Howe ISD. I have been a nurse for Almost 13 years. I graduated from Howe in 1998. I have been married to my husband, Clint for 16 years. We live just outside of Howe and our three children, Austin, Alex, and Ayla, attend Howe Schools. It has been a busy but fun first year and I have enjoyed getting to know the kids, staff and parents here at Howe ISD. I look forward to next year!

Tanner Hartsfield advances in powerlifting Junior Tanner Hartsfield finished first in the 181 lb weight class by squatting 440 lbs., benching 300 lbs., and dead lifting 475 lbs. Andrew Griffin finished second with 430, 270 and 430, in the same categories. Tristan Matthews finished second in the 220 weight class with lifts of 550, 320 and 465. As a team, Howe finshed third with 23 points behing Anna and Princeton with 26 and 25, respectively.
