The third quarter was all about defense and Howe didn't even score a single point in the third However, Holliday was held to only seven points and the Lady Bulldogs lead was 46-27 headed to the final quarter.
With most of the starters on the bench, Holliday outscored Howe in the fourth, 14-12 but the early lead stood up as the Lady Bulldogs 5841 win clinched the bi-district championship for the fourth consecutive year.
That would set up a rematch with Grandview from earlier in the year when Howe lost to them by seven points in the second round of the Whataburger tournament back in January
The game was a nail-biter in the first period with Grandview's fullcourt press causing many Lady Bulldog turnovers However, just at the first came to a close, Howe battled back and narrowed the Grandview lead to one thanks to a Darci Foster three-pointer
Howe played from behind the entrie game except for one moment when another Foster three-pointer put Howe up 19-18 in the second period But from that point on, it was all Grandview and their devastating press They took a 45-

31 advantage into the half.
Howe battled all night, but the talent of the Jentsch sisters, the Sullivan sisters and Jade Rochelle was too much to overcome
Howe was led in scoring by Riley Harvey who had 13 points Foster finished with 10 and Alissa Smith had 8. Other scorers were Peyton
Harvey, soon to be named fourtime District MVP, teamed with Foster, Smith and Hawkins to make the four the core of unbelievable success, going 67-26 in three seasons, including 55-15 in the last two years.
