Fulenchek nabs first career victory; injured by liner
Former Howe Bulldog pitcher Garrett Fulenchek recorded his first career professional win on Wednesday night with one shutout inning recorded. He struck out one hitter and was able to get the other two hitters to ground out.

One of those ground outs hit Fulenchek in the shin and he was taken for x-rays for precautionary measures. The results came back negative for any fractures.
Fulenchek will evaluated on an on-going basis to determine how long he will miss. The ball that hit him in the shin was clocked at 98 miles per hour coming off of the bat. The knot on his shin is large and black and purple.
