Low voltage, portable and robust lighting - now that’s a bright idea! The Lifeguard team are continually developing and innovating new products to meet market demand with safety as the priority.

Current market offerings for low voltage, industrial lighting have not been able to meet the criteria of portability or “light weight & rugged”, until now. A new product designed and manufactured for hard and rugged environments, providing extra low voltage but high output lighting that’s lightweight and fully portable — now that’s a bright idea. The all-new Lifeguard TPL Modlight unit provides safe and reliable high level light output of 36W per unit, for conditions that require portable and robust lighting. Classified as a Class III Lighting Chain and built and tested to AS/NZS 60598.2.20, the Modlight is rough service rated and tough. Manufactured using injection moulded construction, this exciting new product is perfect for all industrial and construction applications. Available in a black enclosure with white LED output and includes a 5m supply cable, it can be customised to end user specifications. With an IP rating of 66/67, the TPL Modlight is powered by the new Lifeguard ACS-LV 24v DC socket which can be connected to any power source or cascaded from another Lifeguard Power Distribution Board. This makes the Modlight a totally portable, safe, and robust solution.
The Modlight will complement the existing Lifeguard lighting range and become an integral part of the full power distribution solution that Lifeguard offers. The standard Lifeguard lighting range consists of various sizes of lights from fluorescent lighting, chain lighting — up to 200m interconnected, flood lights, emergency lighting and exit lighting. Lifeguard Distribution Boards come standard with lighting outlets which provide a unique plug-and-go capability for our lighting system. The cascade “plug-in” aspects of the Lifeguard lighting system enable quick and easy installation throughout multi-level construction and across large areas and is designed for both indoor and outdoor applications.
