Damian Hough, Adelaide Oval Head Curator, regularly uses Your Floor at the heritage sports stadium to save hours on turf maintenance and damage repair after the venue stages major public events for tens of thousands of people. The famous field in Hough’s care is known for seamlessly switching purpose — from sport ground to rock concert venue and back again — with quick turnarounds.

Hough also tested the colour options offered by Your Floor to find the right one for turf protection. He selected yellow, as it’s the colour that keeps the grass growing and green for seven to 1O days under cover. But Adelaide Oval’s connection to Your Floor began at the design stage with input from “pitch whisperer”, Les Burdett.

Les was Adelaide Oval’s head curator from 1978 to 2010. He is renowned globally for his expertise in cricket ground management. Les assisted in selecting the ideal design to give Your Floor the best properties to protect turf.
