Shore Hire appoints Ashley Lancaster as new CEO

Shore Hire, one of Australia’s leading suppliers of highquality shoring, propping and traffic equipment, has recently appointed Ashley Lancaster as the Company’s new CEO. An experienced leader, Ashley commenced his position as CEO in October 2021, following his role as Shore Hire’s National Operations Manager. Ashley succeeded Richard Purser, following retirement. Richard continues at Shore with a position on the board.

Ashley brings to the role extensive management experience in the construction industry. His impressive career spans more than 20 years, with previous appointments including Regional Manager at Gough & Gilmour and General Manager NSW & ACT at Coates Hire.

It’s an exciting time for the company as we continue to expand our product range and grow the business nationally. I look forward to driving the team and business toward further successes.”

A results-driven leader, Ashley joined Shore Hire in February 2018 as Assets, People and Compliance Manager. In June 2019 he accepted the position as National Operations Manager where he was responsible for Shore Hire’s national branch network and manufacturing teams. Ashley also holds qualifications from Harvard Business School’s Executive Program and an Advanced Diploma in Business Management.
