role in the company’s success. But if the pieces don’t work well together or are not integrated, the result is often a poor customer experience due to inaccurate billings and longer checkout times. Furthermore, inaccurate billings often lead to payment delays. Ultimately, providing smooth customer transactions requires integration into both your rental management software and the payment processor.
easily collect payments for cycle-billed rental transactions Four benefits of integrating payment processing with your rental management software 01. Increase Cash Flow Getting customers to pay invoices on time can be challenging. When contracted receivables age over 90 days, it is hard to recover payment. Waiting on cheques to arrive in the mail or electronic transfers to be completed can be tedious and time-consuming, ultimately squeezing cash flow. By integrating payment processing into your rental management software, you can unlock new methods of managing deposits and payments. 02. Reduce Human Error Whether it is recording details incorrectly, entering errors with the transaction terminal, or applying
the wrong data to accounts, mistakes frequently occur. With the integration between the Eftpos terminal and rental management system, counter transaction totals are displayed on the card reader without staff manually entering the amount. This integration reduces errors and improves day to day reconciliation by eliminating any discrepancies between what was invoiced and what had been collected by the credit card terminal. 03. Improve Workflow Integrated payments streamline credit card transactions by eliminating time-consuming manual steps. Your rental software and the payment processor share realtime information, and as a result, workflows are optimized for every transaction, whether in-person, over the phone, or even online. 04. Strengthen Security As a business owner, it can be easy to overlook outdated workflows. However, with data breaches increasing, mishandling credit card information can have a severe, long-lasting impact on the companies that experience them.
