1. Install the suspension fixture 885192 in stand 99922520 and brace the lower unit in the stand.

3. Use special tool 884830 and install the lower gear upside down.

2 4. Remove the 2 screws holding the propeller bearing housing. Remove the propeller shaft and the propeller bearing housing. Use special tool 884161. Remove the special tool once the propeller bearing housing is free and pull out the bearing housing by hand.
2. Remove the oil strainer (1) and the O-rings (2 and 3, only models 280, 285 and 290).
