V-MAC Co-Pilot Operator's Manual 91 Theft Deterrent The THEFT DETERRENT screen, if programmed, will appear after the MACK LOGO INTRO screen. Messages prompt the driver to enter a password. If an incorrect password is entered after a predetermined number of attempts, access is denied and the vehicle will shut down and not allow engine start until the correct password is entered.
