2. Pull the lever, and the blade will raise.

CAUTIONS for blade operation: Blade is for light duty work such as pushing soft dirt or mud only! ●
Do not push down hard on the blade or it may cause damage to the blade and foot.

To avoid damage to the blade, do not side load the blade.
●
When using the blade to support the front of the machine during operation, ensure that the blade is firmly supported over the full length of the blade. This will prevent damage to the blade. 63
