Check of engine emergency stop switch
Engine emergency stop switch (Mining specification) The machines of the mining specification are equipped with the engine emergency stop switch. Check that the switch operates normally. 1. Start the engine. 2. Check of operation of engine emergency stop switch (1) Press the switch installed to the inside left of the cab and check that the engine stops. (Fig. 1) Position (A): Engine stops Position (B): Engine can start (Fig. 4) Furthermore, check that "STOP" is displayed on the monitor panel. (Fig. 3) (2) Press the switch installed to the rear of the right fender and check that the engine stops. Furthermore, check that "STOP" is displayed on the monitor panel. (Fig. 3)
The switch can be returned to position (B) and reset by turning it clockwise (C). (Fig. 4)
