3 7.2 Removing / storing the machine

Danger!

All work under or on the machine lifted up should only be undertaken with the machine securely propped up - danger of injury. – The machine must be securely supported underneath. – Use suitable supporting elements. – see also Operator's Manual of the machine. The drive and the engine must always be switched off when working on the machine. – Switch off engine. – Remove the ignition key.

Caution!

The machine must only be parked on flat ground - stability!

• Machine to be unhooked in accordance with the

Operator's Manual for the machine.

Attention!

Dampness in the terminal / CLAAS Communicator leads to functional errors in the electro-hydraulic control system of the machine! – Protect the Terminal / CLAAS Communicator from dampness.

• Remove the terminal / CLAAS Communicator (10) from the tractor and store away from dampness. • Fix the CLAAS Communicator to the bracket (11) underneath the front cladding. • Also observe the instructions in the Operator's

Manual for the terminal being used with regard to storage. (Fig. 3)

• When there is a danger of frost: – Separate the connection cable (12) from the machine. – Store the terminal / CLAAS Communicator in a weather-protected room at a room temperature (approx. 18°C). – Also observe the instructions in the Operator's Manual for the terminal being used with regard to storage. (Fig. 4)
