To handle a load, it is imperative for all slings and chains be attached to the connecting rod eye. See “Load Handling” in the “Operating Instructions” Section. IMPORTANT : Never use the ring in the quick coupler (optional), if the machine is fitted with a quick coupler. The only load fixing point is the connecting rod eye.
IMPORTANT : This attachment point will only carry the load indicated in the maximum lift capacities table. See “Maximum lift capacities tables” in the “Operating Instructions” Section and “Maximum loads” in the “Specifications” Section.

WARNING : Never weld hooks or lugs on the bottom plate of the bucket for handling operations. The only attachment point which may be used is the connecting rod eye.

The role of the safety valve is to stop the attachment from dropping due to valve spool leakage in neutral position or in the event of a line or hose accidentally breaking. In the latter event, they also ensure that the attachment may be lowered gently to the ground. See “Load handling” in the “Operating Instructions” Section.
