OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
MACHINE OPERATION WARNING: Before you operate the machine, check the steering control levers, instruments, warning lamps, engine throttle, and equipment hydraulic controls. Also check the seat bar. When the seat bar is in the UP position, the parking brake is ENGAGED and the loader control levers are locked in the NEUTRAL position. If you know there is a malfunction, a missing part, or a part that needs adjustment, stop the machine and correct the problem immediately. Failure to follow these instructions can result in injury or death. SA007

4. Keep the work area as smooth and level as possible.
1. Set the engine speed at full throttle and control the machine speed with the steering control levers.

5. Keep the work cycle as short as possible.
2. If you are a new operator, always operate the machine in an open area at a reduced machine speed until you get a feel for the controls. If you move the steering controls too fas t the mac hine ca n s ta rt bouncing. Just release the control levers and the machine will stop.
6. Select the correct tires for the conditions, that is; wide or narrow, pneumatic or non-pneumatic. NOTE: For handling (lifting with the backhoe) see page 60.
3. Keep all machine and loader movements smooth. You can get more done in a shorter time with a smooth work cycle.
