SPARK ARRESTER MUFFLER WARNING: The spark arrester is not intended to be used in closed areas where there is dust or vapor that can cause an explosion. SB025
Clean the spark arrester muffler after every 100 hours of operation. Use the following procedure. 1. Pull out the engine stop control to prevent the engine from starting (1825 only). On the 1825B disconnect the wire from the fuel shutoff solenoid. 2. Disconnect the electrical connector to the fuel shutoff solenoid (1825B only).
4. Leave the seat bars up during this procedure. 5. Turn the key to START for 30 seconds while another person is holding a block of wood over the outlet pipe of the spark arrester muffler. Turn the key to OFF. 6. Install the pipe plug in the spark arrester muffler. 7. Connect the electrical connector to the fuel shutoff solenoid.

3. Remove the pipe plug from the spark arrester muffler. If a new plug is needed, the new plug MUST be made of brass.
