TROUBLESHOOTING Chart The following troubleshooting chart is provided for assistance in locating and correcting problems which are most common. Many of the recommended procedures must be done by authorized Bobcat Service Personnel only.

Battery has lost its charge. Loose battery connections. Loose starter connections. Damaged starter switch. Broken or damaged wire harness. Damaged starter or solenoid. Fuse has damage. Wrong starting procedure. No fuel in tank. Air cleaner is dirty. Fuel vent in cap has restricted. Fuel line has air leak, dirt or water. Hydraulic/Hydrostatic load on engine. Fuel pump is damaged. Ignition system is damaged or timing is wrong. Incorrect crankcase oil. Dirty fuel mixture. Poor compression. Water in the fuel line. Engine is overloaded. Radiator grill is dirty. Dirty engine oil. Restricted exhaust system. Coolant level is low. Oil cooler has restriction.
