IS THE CHURCH OF YOUR CHOICE THE LORD’S CHOICE? A recent Gallup poll has stated that in the United States, church attendance has declined from 75% of the population in 1945 to 47% in 2020. That is almost a 30% decline and the trend is downward. In 1956 the 84th Congress passed a resolution that “In God We Trust” was to become the national motto of our country. The bible has many examples of nations whose citizens slowly departed from godly living and were overcome by more powerful nations as a result. Is the US in that downward spiral? Let us all consider our plight and turn back to God as our Creator, our Sustainer and the Father of all. Questions? Visit a Church of Christ near you. Please consider these things.
