NRI Karma Ratna Award for GOPIO Canberra President Nishi Puri OAM

ishi Puri OAM, president of the GOPIO Canberra chapter and Multicultural Association of Canberra, received the NRI Karma Ratna Award this year on 9th January at the Constitution Club in India. Nishi Puri OAM said, “It was indeed an honour to receive this recognition”.
GOPIO Canberra donates food to international students

OPIO Canberra chapter, in collaboration with the Multicultural Association of Canberra, has restarted its food donation drive for this year to assist Indian and other international students studying at the University of Canberra who are doing it tough. This service began during COVID-19 in 2021 and is ongoing. Food supplies are delivered each fortnight to the University of Canberra International student pantry for distribution. GOPIO Canberra is grateful to the community and patrons for their ongoing support. 4 | JANUARY 2024
