Tributes to the late Vinod Chandra Patel
A
prominent businessman in Fiji, GOPIO International Life Member Vinod Patel was also a philanthropist supporting the Indian Diaspora community. He was honoured with GOPIO’s Community Service Award at the GOPIO Convention in Bangalore in 2017. Vinod Patel's funeral service was held at Vinod Patel Park in Ba Fiji Islands, followed by his cremation at Varoko Crematorium at 1.30 pm. Hundreds had assembled to honour the memory of the late Vinod Chandra Patel, while businesses in Ba Town were closed from 12 pm to 2 pm.
