Your stay Day 1: UK to Geneva to Montreux. Fly to Geneva and transfer by coach to Chillon Castle, set on a rock on the banks of Lake Geneva. After your included visit, transfer to Montreux for a two-night stay at a locally rated 4-star hotel, with breakfasts and dinners included throughout your stay Day 2: Montreux Transfer to the station to board a train bound for Lausanne. Enjoy an included tour of the city, officially known as the Olympic Capital, before boarding a funicular to visit the lakeside Olympic Museum. Finally, head back to the port to board a boat for the cruise back to Montreux. Day 3: Montreux to St Moritz Spend the morning at leisure in Montreux before transferring by coach to Brig where you’ll board the Glacier Express and travel to St Moritz. A three-course dinner is served on board. Arrive in St Moritz this evening and transfer to a locally rated 4-star hotel for a two-night stay. Day 4: St Moritz After breakfast at the hotel this morning head into the city centre to explore at leisure. Late morning board a train to Bernina Diavolezza for an included cable car trip up Mount Diavolezza to a vantage point almost 3,000 metres high, with a view of Dialezza Glacier. Return by cable car to Bernina Diavolezza. Dinner is included at your hotel.
Your river cruise Day 5: St Moritz to Basel Check out after breakfast and transfer to the port of Basel, where you’ll embark Spirit of the Rhine.

Day 6: Breisach Arrive in the early hours with a day to explore Breisach, an important medieval town overlooked by a 12th-century cathedral – St Stephansmünster. An optional excursion heads to Colmar and the wine town of Riquewhir, or perhaps visit Lake Titisee in the Black Forest for a short cruise and lunch on another optional tour. Day 7: Strasbourg Look forward to an included city tour and canal cruise this morning. An optional excursion visits the walled city of Obernai this afternoon. Day 8: Mannheim to Mainz to Rüdesheim Pause in Mannheim this morning for an included visit to Heidelberg. Rejoin the ship in Mainz where you spend the afternoon at leisure or join an optional city walk, before cruising to Rüdesheim. This evening, optional excursions include a wine tasting session or a visit to Siegfried’s Museum of Mechanical Music. Day 9: Rüdesheim to Koblenz Enjoy an afternoon in Koblenz, where an optional tour of the city and visit to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress is available. Day 10: Cologne See more of Germany’s cultural capital, Cologne, on an optional morning tour. Spirit of the Rhine cruises through the afternoon and overnight bound for Amsterdam. Day 11: Amsterdam This morning enjoy the local food and culture during an included culinary-themed walking tour or join an included coach tour and see the Royal Palace, floating flower market, Central Railway Station and 19th-century Rijksmuseum,

followed by a cruise along the famous canals. This afternoon an optional excursion visits Edam, Volendam and the Katwoude cheese farm. Day 12: Amsterdam to UK. Disembark Spirit of the Rhine after breakfast, or continue your stay at the Westcord Fashion Hotel with an optional post cruise extension.
EXTEND YOUR HOLIDAY After your cruise stay two nights in Amsterdam at the locally rated 4-star Westcord Fashion Hotel (4Q) with breakfasts included.
