Once again we sail onboard Ambassador Cruise Line’s flagship, Ambience, departing London Tilbury on Sunday May 30th 2027 and returning a week later on Sunday June 6th 2027.

DAY 1: LONDON TILBURY
30th May - Departs 5pm
Your voyage begins from London Tilbury, a key entry point to the UK capital, nestled along the River Thames in Essex.
DAY 2: AT SEA
31st May
Sea days are a wonderful chance to relax, explore the ship, and enjoy quality time with those around you. Whether you indulge in a treatment at the Green Sea Spa, sample delicious cuisine, catch a show in the Palladium, join a class or talk, or play games with friends and family - there’s something to suit every mood and interest.
DAY 3: GOTHENBURG
1st June - Arrives 9am, Departs 6pm
Gothenburg, Sweden’s vibrant city on the west coast, combines historic charm with modern sophistication. With historic canals, archipelago excursions, and innovative architecture to see, Gothenburg is a cultural delight.
DAY 4: HELSINGBORG
2nd June - Arrives 8am, Departs 2pm
Helsingborg, Sweden, unfolds along the scenic Oresund Strait, inviting exploration of its maritime history and Danishinspired charm. Stroll through historic quarters, visit waterfront attractions, and discover the subtle beauty of this Swedish town.
DAY 4 - 5: COPENHAGEN

Copenhagen, Denmark’s capital, epitomises Scandinavian elegance with its historic charm and modern vibrancy. From royal palaces to innovative architecture, the city invites exploration of its cultural richness and harbour views.

6: AALBORG
4th June - Arrives 8am, Departs 3pm
Aalborg, Denmark offers a delightful blend of Viking history and modern culture. Visit the Lindholm Hoje burial grounds to uncover Denmark’s Viking past, or stroll through the city’s lively streets filled with cafes and shops. Aalborg’s rich history and vibrant atmosphere make it an inviting port to explore.
DAY 7: AT SEA 5th June
With another relaxing day at sea ahead, take the time to truly settle into life on board. You might start with a leisurely breakfast, enjoy a peaceful moment by the pool, or dive into a new activity - from engaging talks and creative workshops to indulgent spa treatments and vibrant live entertainment. However you choose to spend it, there are countless ways to make the most of your time at sea.
DAY 8: RETURN TO LONDON TILBURY
6th June - Arrives 9am

Holiday Organisation: This holiday has been arranged on behalf of the members and supporters of Shoreham and Southwick u3a by Martin Hay from GoCruise & Travel (ABTA J5035) in association with Ambassador Cruise Line. Martin is a national award-winning independent ocean, river, expedition and group cruise specialist.
Cabin Availability: A small number of cabins in each of the above categories (inside, outside, balcony and suite) for both double / twin and for sole occupancy have been secured by Martin for our exclusive use until Tuesday September 30th. All cabins are available on a first come first served basis.
Important: Once our initial allocation of cabins is sold out, further cabins may be available on a “Request Basis” but this is not guaranteed – Members and supporters are urged to act early to avoid possible disappointment.
Cabin Pricing: The prices shown above are only fixed until Tuesday September 30th, thereafter they can and likely will change. NB: The above “per person” prices fully reflect Ambassador’s launch “Buy One get One Half Price” offer.
Important: In addition, the above prices include a further specially negotiated group discount for all bookings made through our appointed travel agent Martin Hay from GoCruise & Travel – see below. NB: You can book directly with Ambassador, but you will pay more and you will not benefit from Martin’s renowned knowledge, expertise and quality of service.
Deposit: Ambassador Cruise Line require a 15% non-refundable deposit at the time of booking to secure your chosen cabin category and cabin number.
Insurance: It is a condition of travel that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance, ideally at the time of booking, but certainly no later than the holiday final balance due date.
