ZINEMA IKASLEEN NAZIOARTEKO XVI. TOPAKETA XVI ENCUENTRO INTERNACIONAL DE ESTUDIANTES DE CINE 16th INTERNATIONAL FILM STUDENTS MEETING

Zinema Ikasleen Nazioarteko XVI. Topaketak, irailaren 25etik 29ra bitarte, mundu osoko zinema-ikasleen lanak ezagutzera ematea du helburu. Aurten, luzatu egin da sailaren iraupena –egun bat gehitu zaio, eta bost egun izango ditu guztira– eta industria zinematografikoaren profesional nabarmenak hartuko ditu, beren filmak Donostian aurkeztera datozenean: hain zuzen, Todd Haynes eta Christine Vachon, Raymond Depardon eta Claudine Nougaret, José Luis Torres Leiva, Marine Francen eta Nobuhiro Suwa. Eskola magistralak ikasleentzat eta ikusle kopuru mugatu batentzat gorde dira; parte hartzeko, Tabakaleraren web-orrian eman dezakete izena. Film laburren emanaldietarako, aldiz, Donostia Zinemaldiaren ohiko salmenta-kanalen bitartez eros daitezke sarrerak. Ikaslez osatutako epaimahai batek, irakasle bat buruan eta Orona Fundazioak aukeratua, 5.000 euroko Orona saria emango du. Gainera, parte hartzen duten eskoletako ikaslez osatutako epaimahai espezifiko batek, José Luis Torres Leiva txiletar zinemagilea buruan, film labur onenaren Panavision Saria erabakiko du. Topaketa Donostia 2016 Europako Kultur Hiriburuaren ondarearen parte da. El XVI Encuentro Internacional de Estudiantes de Cine, que se celebrará del 25 al 29 de septiembre, tiene como objetivo dar a conocer los trabajos de los alumnos de escuelas de cine de todo el mundo. Este año, la sección crece en duración -añade un día más, prolongándose en cinco jornadas- y acogerá la visita de destacados profesionales de la industria cinematográfica que presentan sus películas en San Sebastián: Todd Haynes y Christine Vachon, Raymond Depardon y Claudine Nougaret, José Luis Torres Leiva, Marine Francen y Nobuhiro Suwa. Las clases magistrales están reservadas a los estudiantes y a un número limitado de espectadores, que podrán inscribirse en la página web de Tabakalera, mientras que las entradas para los pases de cortometrajes se podrán adquirir a través de los canales de venta habituales. Un jurado compuesto por estudiantes, presidido por un profesor y seleccionado por Orona Fundazioa, otorgará el Premio Orona dotado con 5.000 euros. Además, un jurado específico, compuesto por los estudiantes de las escuelas participantes y presidido por el cineasta chileno José Luis Torres Leiva, decidirá el Premio Panavision al mejor corto. El Encuentro forma parte del legado de San Sebastián 2016, Capital Europea de la Cultura. The XVI International Film Students Meeting, taking place from September 25 to 29, has the objective of presenting the works of students from film schools all over the world. This year, the section will run for longer, with an extra day bringing it up to a total of five, and will include the visit of top-notch professionals from the film world who will present their works in San Sebastian: Todd Haynes and Christine Vachon, Raymond Depardon and Claudine Nougaret, José Luis Torres Leiva, Marine Francen and Nobuhiro Suwa. The Masterclasses are reserved for students and a limited number of spectators, who can attend by registering on the Tabakalera website, while the tickets for the different short film screenings can be acquired through the usual sales channels. A jury of students, presided over by a professor and selected by the Orona Fundazioa, will give the Orona Award, with 5,000 euros. Furthermore, a specific jury made up of students from the participating films and with the Chilean filmmaker José Luis Torres Leiva as its president, will decide the Panavision Award going to the best short film. The Meeting is part of the legacy left by San Sebastian, European Capital of Culture 2016.
