Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Western Australia (CCIWA) is the peak notfor-profit business chamber in Western Australia. Established in 1890, CCIWA supports over 8,000 members to grow their business to make Western Australia the best place to live and do business. As champions for trade and commerce, they are a strong advocate for business in Western Australia promoting policy agendas that encourage and support business to expand locally and internationally. They provide members with a suite of relevant services including economic insights and policy agendas, connecting business to mining, construction, infrastructure, defence and other major projects through the Industry Capability Network Western Australia. With access to 16,000 businesses, CCIWA has a deep knowledge and experience of international trade to help business reduce the time, cost, and risk of going global. CCIWA issue almost 75% by volume of the total volume of Certificates of Origin in Western Australia giving the organisation a unique insight into the international diaspora. In addition they are the Australian Government’s provider of the Australian Trade Commissions TradeStart programme. CCIWA partnered with the Western Australian Government, through Invest and Trade Western Australia to launch WAinvestments.com.au, a dedicated investment website showcasing investment ready projects in Western Australia.
